Wakaf Interactive Resource Arena (WIRA) is a "Smart classroom" located on the 2nd Floor, Block A, Central Academic Complex Hall (DKAP), Zone C (In front of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology).

This room has been upgraded from a lecture room to a "smart classroom" at a cost of RM150,000 donated by the Knowledge Endowment Fund by the Endowment, Zakat and Infak Management Center (WAZAN), UPM.

The upgrading works started in September 2024 and will be fully completed with equipment and furniture for modern and up-to-date learning needs in January 2025. WIRA was officially launched by YBhg. Dato' Professor Dr. Ahmad Farhan bin Mohd Sadullah, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia on 3 February 2025.

Waqf Development Interactive Resource Arena (WIRA) This WIRA project is part of Phase 1 of the Project to upgrade the Central Academic Lecture Hall (DKAP), UPM to the Putra Academic and Convention Arena (PACA) in phases. It is an initiative to upgrade academic facilities with the aim of providing better infrastructure towards the best learning and life experience at UPM, as desired by YBhg. Dato' Vice Chancellor of UPM in Core 4, during his 100 day message and 2024 Mandate on 24 January 2024.

The WIRA room is a modern smart classroom that integrates technology that is compatible with the teaching and learning needs of the 21st millennium. This room is equipped with a "smart panel" that can support modern and up-to-date teaching and learning needs. This room also has a "flexible training seat" that supports the needs of a more flexible and "student-cantered" class.
