The Section Of Academic Promotion, Division of Admission and Division of Academic Governance in collaboration with several faculties in UPM have participated in JOM MASUK IPT VIRTUAL 2021 organized by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) virtually to ensure that the delivery of information on higher education access is not compromised while the country is facing the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic.

Since all people noticed, the Ministry of Higher Education (MOE) through the Student Admission Division of Public Universities, Higher Education Departments (BKPA JPT) is responsible for coordinating the application, processing, selection and appeal of students for the Foundation, Diploma and Bachelor's Degree programmes through UPU Online.

JOM MASUK IPT VIRTUAL 2021 involves the participation from all Public Universities, Polytechnics, Community Colleges, Public Skills Training Institutions (ILKA), Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) and Scholarship Division, Ministry of Higher Education. This programme is divided into two (2) phases, first phase on 15 - 21 June 2021 specifically for SPM leavers and Second Phase on 8 - 12 August 2021 for STPM applicants and equivalent.

JOM MASUK IPT VIRTUAL 2021 also provides 29 webinar slots, live chat sessions and group and individual consultations by virtual exhibitors. The Ministry also maintained the existing communication network with Hotline, Feedback System and official email throughout the programme.

Despite the danger threat of covid-19 pandemic, the JOM MASUK IPT VIRTUAL 2021 programme has received overwhelming response from visitors comprising applicants, parents, guardians, guidance and counselling teachers as well as the public who provided 100% support in this programme.
