APPROACHING THE RURAL COMMUNITY THROUGH OUTREACH PROGRAMS

The Academic Promotion Section, UPM Admissions Division and Division of Academic Governance have been actively involved in the Outreach Program organized by the Public Institutions of Higher Education (PIHE) Admissions Division, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in collaboration with several public universities.

The objective of the program is to promote and disseminate the latest information on higher education opportunities offered by public and private institutions of higher education and the Public Skills Training Institute to the rural community, especially students, teachers and parents in the local area.

In the first half of year 2022, UPM Admissions Division has participated in three (3) Outreach Programs, namely:
